Dhum Dar Kandi Pass leads between Swargarohini (6,252m) and Bandarpunch (6,320). It's a stunning traverse that takes you down to Ruinsara Lake before ascending once again over the 5,000m Yamunotri Pass down to Yamunotri. Thereafter it's an easy enjoyable descend along with many pilgrims returning from the Yamunotri Temple, one of the four temples on the Garhwal Pilgrim Circuit, passing those that labor up the mountain on this fascinating ancient pilgrimage.
